What do you want in your lifetime?

Take a moment to think about the world you live in and what people are doing to it. Today's political leaders don't have to deal with the consequences, because the world will not die of pollution in their lifetime. It is in our generation and future generations will suffer their carelessness. Pollution has become such a common thing - we don't blink at the poisons killing our planet. Deadly and yet so easy to fix.

Many think that changing the world requires huge, life-altering sacrifices. But no, small actions done by more people are much more effective than one person doing one large thing.

Plastic is a luxury. Convenient and effortlessly disposable. But like all luxuries, plastic has a price. Our world is dying. The sea once clean and blue is now a murky, mucky mess. The sky so clear can barely be seen in some places. Your sky is next. You might think that plastic just disappears; that pollution is a finite myth. It is not. The world will be enveloped in the chemicals and rubbish that current and former generations have left. You don’t want to give up your warm, convenient heating for more layers of practical clothing. Or an electrical blanket that instantly heats up instead of a hot water bottle. You want your perfect lifestyle, your luxurious modern amenities, but at what cost? This isn’t just for tomorrow, for next year or even the next decade; it’s for your future. Our World is in our hands.
